Currently, I’ve done about two dozen interviews with people from various fields. It’s all been super interesting. Although I’d love to interview more types of peopleĀ from various backgrounds (most everyone I’ve talked to has such interesting stories about what they’re working on), I’m reaching a point where my head feels like it’ll explode from the data and stories that I’ve been carrying in my head.
Well, metaphorically speaking, of course. To prevent this, I’ve started to analyze my data. For starters, I’ve been transcribing the interviews (albeit painfully–it’s hard to listen to yourself in a recording) into a Google Spreadsheet, and have been working through the analysis bit the past few weeks. I’ll talk more about that later once I’m able to articulate / think-through better how I’m approaching it. The doodle below shows the state of mind I’ve been in in the past few weeks, wandering through the tangled thicket of user research data, literature review findings, potential insights and connections, people’s stories, pain points, and wishes.
